It will be easier if you start and finish at your belly button that will give you measurements that are more precise. Now, if you are a woman and your waist size is less than 35 inches – relax – everything is fine. However, if it is more than 35 inches then you definitely should consider this diet, the secret of which we are going to reveal very soon. And if you are a man, then the waist size less than 40 inches sounds pretty ok, while more than 40 inches should alarm you and the diet would be a good way out. https://www.livingloud.com.au/ Living Loud was a recording project featuring bass player and songwriter Bob Daisley, Uriah Heep drummer Lee Kerslake, guitarist Steve Morse of Deep Purple and Cold Chisel singer Jimmy Barnes. Deep Purple keyboards player Don Airey made a guest appearance. According to the liner notes of the self-titled album, the project was instigated by Daisley who had discussed with Kerslake the possibility of "re-doing some of the songs from the classic rock albums that they had co-written". Six of those songs, "I Don't Know", "Crazy Train", "Flying High Again", "Mr. Crowley", "Tonight" and "Over the Mountain" originally appeared on the Ozzy Osbourne albums Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman. In 2002, Osbourne had re-issued both albums with Daisley and Kerslake's original performances replaced by new bass and drum tracks after both men had sued the singer for non-payment of royalties and related issues (despite playing on Diary of a Madman, Daisley and Kerslake's performances were credited to Rudy Sarzo and Tommy Aldridge for many years). During the first week, you may find it easy to lose weight by simply switching to a healthier diet. But as your metabolism adjusts, you won’t burn as many calories as you used to. So losing additional weight will become harder. Making matters worse, as the fat melts away, you’ll start to experience an increase in appetite. After a meal, fat cells release a hormone called leptin into the bloodstream. This surge in leptin levels signals to your brain you’re full and should stop eating. But with less overall fat, people who lose weight show a measurable dip in leptin. Brain scans of obese patients who had lost 10% of their body weight revealed that less leptin leads to increased activity in regions of the brain that control our desire to eat. The result isn’t just an increased appetite but an even stronger urge to eat fatty, high-calorie foods, because your brain is trying to restore the body’s leptin levels to normal. However, fighting that early impulse to gorge on pizza and donuts is worth it in the long run. Besides the decreased risk of heart disease, hypertension, high cholesterol and type 2 diabetes, scientists studying overweight people discovered that losing just one pound of body weight reduces four pounds of pressure on knee joints. Losing excess weight also reduces strain on the blood vessels, increases blood flow to the brain, and boosts overall brain function. Several studies have shown that people who underwent weight-loss surgery saw an improvement in memory, concentration, and problem-solving skills in as soon as three months. Plus, brain scans indicate that people who lost weight and kept it off for nine months reacted differently when shown images of high-calorie foods than before they lost the weight. The brain regions that process reward, motivation, and taste didn’t react as strongly, whereas the areas that promote overall self-control had a boost in activity. So fighting those cravings early on might make them easier to control later. Turns out — like anything else — losing weight can get easier with practice.

You cannot burn fat just by weight training if you have a poor diet. However, I know a lot of people that are under the impression that weight training can only be used to build muscle, but the truth is that there are ways for you to weight train in which you will burn way more fat than you ever could just by doing tons of cardio. When you do cardio you get to burn calories for the duration of your cardio session. So if you're running on the treadmill for half an hour you will burn calories during that half hour and maybe a few more calories for the next half hour while you're body returns to homeostasis. On the other hand with weight training you'll burn calories throughout the entire day. This is because your body will use what you eat to replenish glycogen stores in your muscles, it will also rebuild the muscles with amino acids from broken down proteins, and you'll experience epoc which is excess post exercise oxygen consumption. Or otherwise known as the after-burn effect. Another benefit of weight training is that by building muscle your metabolism will go up. Now even though you will experience all of these positive effects with traditional weight training. There are plenty of ways to take it up a notch and make your weight training workouts way more effective at burn fat. The first way is through a method know as peripheral heart action training. The goal of this type of training is to keep the blood circulating throughout the whole body. Usually this is accomplished by mixing upper body and lower body exercises back and forth within a circuit. An example of this would be to do an upper body exercise like bench press, then right away do Barbell squats, then follow that up with Bent over rows, and finish with walking lunges. There I would be doing upper, lower, upper, lower. By cycling between upper and lower your heart has to work harder to push blood back and forth between the muscles being worked. This means you're going to burn way way more calories than somebody that is doing traditional weight training. The other supposed benefit is that it prevents you from feeling too much burn in one muscle group. However, i think if you do this correctly you will definitely feel the burn. You don't have to limit yourself to upper and lower splits for peripheral heart action training. I think it's very important to work on building muscle when you're goal is to burn fat because building muscle will help with that by elevating your resting metabolism. To build muscle you have to go heavy. It's tough to go heavy when you're doing upper an lower exercises back to back because you're going to get really winded. So to help you build muscle while still burning more fat you can do a purely upper or lower body PHA Split. An example of an upper body PHA split would be to do a set of Inclined Dumbbell presses, followed by a superset for chest with dumbbell flies, followed by a Bent over dumbbell row, and finished with a superset for the back like reverse flies. You can do the same thing with your legs, just switch back and forth between working the front and the back of your hips and thighs. Another Amazing way that you can burn a ton more fat with weight training is by doing something that you all may have heard of, high intensity interval training. But I'm going to give you a way to structure your HIIT program to make it even more effective. Instead of just doing the more aerobic based exercises back to back for example burpees, plyometric lunges, rope slams, and squats jumps are all more aerobic exercises. Instead of just doing that, the more effective structure for burning fat would be to do a heavy weight training exercise, followed immediately by your more aerobic exercise. If you combine 3 of each into a 6 exercise circuit where you go back forth between an aerobic exercise, and a heavy anaerobic weight training exercise you will burn a ton of calories. A good example of this would be to do Barbell clean and presses, followed by burpees, followed by deep Barbell squats, followed by squat jumps, followed by T Bar rows, and finished with 45 seconds of mountain climbers. Besides the mountain climbers everything else you would do for 10 reps. If you do 3 sets of that circuit, I promise you'll be dead. And you'll burn a ton more calories then you ever could with a cardio based workout plan.

About this video: How did I get that 1300-1400 number? Here's my info: I'm 31, 5'2.5, and i'm around 115 lbs. My BMR is actually 1300. I also have high estrogen, slow metabolism, food allergies, slow digestive system (with IBS), and a family history of hypothyroidism. I have never lost weight easily, unless I create a caloric deficit through diet or exercise. I calculated my BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate - Calories burned at rest) with the Harris–Benedict equation, you can use an online BMR calculator to do this. Then factor in your daily activity level (track each activity by burn calories - ie. biked hills 1 hour = 600 calories, or multiply your BMR by 1.2-1.9 (low activity-highly active) to figure out how much you burn every day. Nutritionists and Personal Trainers often suggest creating a "caloric deficit" to lose weight, whether that's through exercise or diet. This article suggests 300-500 calorie deficit per day for athletes for weight loss - http://bit.ly/2yM7Kg9. This Mayo Clinic article suggests 500 cut/burn PER DAY...and you think I'm extreme?!) http://bit.ly/mayoclinicarticle Why these numbers? Because there are 3500 calories in a pound of fat. Burn/cut 100 calories per day = lose 1lb per month Burn/cut 300 calories per day = lose 1 lb in 10 days Burn/cut 500 calories per day = lose 1 lb in a week *****When I say "got back from my trip" I was talking about a TWO MONTH trip. Not a one week vacation. losing 3 pounds per month is not an insane weight loss, and actually equates to around 290 calorie deficit per day (give or take)***** For those saying "I eat 2000-3000 in calories per day" you may be much more active than me, please also consider your height, age, hormonal balance and metabolism. Hormones and metabolism aside, walking burns around 200 calories per hour. If you walk at your job for 2 hours, go to the supermarket for a half hour, clean your house for 1 hour, do laundry for a half, even prepare meals for 1 hour - You probably burned 1000 before you even walked into a gym! Let's say your BMR is 1400, that means you would burn 2400 calories that day with those activity calories included, so if you were to only consume 1300, you'd have a 1000 DEFICIT - which is SUPER high and not healthy for a person with that BMR. SO on a day like that, you could just go to the gym and do a light workout and burn 200 calories and EAT 2400 and still lose weight in the long term, OR you just eat 2000 not even go to the gym you'll still have a 200 calorie deficit. This is WHY you can eat the calories you do, or you sit like me most of the week, but have a ton of muscle or a very very fast metabolism. I know some fruitarians preaching high calories and doing nothing - that consider "nothing" going for 1-3 hour bike rides every day, burning 650-800 calories per hour (depending on intensity) - and act like they are surprised they lose weight on their diet! If you burn over 1000 calories per day just biking, and you do some errands and house work, you're likely around 1500-2000 calories burned per day on TOP of your BMR - which means you could literally eat 2800-3400 calories per day and not gain a pound.. If that fruitarian is a muscular guy (like my 30 y/o fiance), at 5'11 and 180lbs, his BMR is 1900, he burns around 1000 through his daily life routine, and could burn an extra 1300+ calories biking two hours, he'd need to eat around 4200 to maintain his weight and eat more to gain weight/build muscle. Call me crazy for believing science, nutritionists, and using a formula. PS- I personally don't believe there is a *one size fits all* calorie count for ALL WOMEN, especially since we have different genetics, nutritional deficiencies, hormonal issues, response to glucose, activity levels etc. I feel everyone should have an understanding of their BMR (cals burned at resting state) and how many cals they burn during daily activities before cutting their calories.
