How to develop a reward strategy
Consider how the reward strategy will link to the business and HR strategies. Understand what total reward is and why it is important for the reward strategy. Review the business strategy, and understand how objectives can be met through reward. Review the current reward offering, considering how each element supports the business strategy. Formulate the new strategy, taking into account that each element included in the strategy should have a purpose. Involve key stakeholders to ensure buy-in across the whole organisation. Plan the implementation of the new strategy, ensuring it is well communicated. Regularly check that the reward strategy is still relevant, current and effective

"Evolving reward strategy and tools" - 2016 European Compensation & Benefits Conference
"Evolving reward strategy and tools: Best practice vs Booking.com practice" - a speech delivered by Luke Sondelski (Booking.com) during 2016 European Compensation & Benefits Conference HR needs to be nimble in order the meet the needs of a constantly evolving business and workforce. Likewise, reward strategies need to flex so that they can help shape the commercial agenda and meet our staff’s diverse needs. Prevailing notions of best practice are helpful starting points for any business looking to understand what the average market does, and to benchmark against, but they need to be one part of your decision-making process, not its entirety. Ensuring that your business’s unique culture, values and specific circumstances drive your reward policies is the best way of driving sustainable growth. How to use the Risk Reward Ratio And Probability 🙂
How To Use the Risk Reward Ratio Like A Professional. http://www.financial-spread-betting.com/course/risk-versus-rewards-stops.html PLEASE LIKE AND SHARE THIS VIDEO SO WE CAN DO MORE You have probably heard of the risk-reward ratio, and maybe even heard advice that says you should have 3:1 or 5:1 reward to risk on any trade you take. On the face of it, that sounds sensible, but if you’re going to win at trading you need to take into account probabilities. For any trade, if there is no other indication, it’s probably 50/50 whether the price will go up or down. There’s a neutral expectancy. And if you took a trade with a 1:1 risk-reward ratio, you’d finish up even over time (less any fees) and there really wouldn’t be any point. In the same situation, if you use a risk/reward ratio of 3:1 or 5:1, the chances are that success in the first case would only be 33% of the time and in the second case 20% of the time, again taking a neutral expectancy for the price to go up or down. So again trading would make no sense. As a trader, you want to stack the odds in your favour. You do this by selecting the trade that you want to make. For instance, you might be looking at a pullback in a rising trend and identifying a low point or support level before the trend continues. If you’ve done your homework and made sure this is the situation, you could reasonably say that the chance that the price will go up is much more than the chance the price will go down. Perhaps there’s a 75% chance of the price rising compared with a 25% chance of the price falling further. Now, if you place a trade that the price will go up with a risk/reward ratio of 1:1, you will over time make a profit. The price is going to go up three times out of four and only go down once out of four trades, on average, so this is a sensible trade to make. It’s also possible to look at this from the other point of view. Say you had a risk-reward ratio of 10:1, and estimate that your chance of success in this trade is only 30%, i.e. 70% of the time the trade will fail and you will be stopped out on your stop loss. Would you want to make this trade? If you’re following along, then you should say of course. I don’t care that my trade fails seven times out of 10 if it succeeds three times out of 10 and each time I win 10 times the amount I lost on each losing trade. I’ve lost seven and won 30 “units” for a healthy profit. So you see it is not such a simple question as what your risk-reward ratio is to decide whether you want to make a trade. You must take into account the probability of success, that is the probability of either outcome. Successful trading requires that you form an assessment of the market and put the odds in your favour every time you take a trade. You win some and you lose some, but you want probability on your side. Top 10 Proven Classroom Management Tips for Teachers
Tweet this Video: http://clicktotweet.com/UfFee http://www.ampli.com/ Like us on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/AmplivoxPortableSoundSystemsandLecterns Classroom management Definition: "A term used by teachers to describe the process of ensuring that classroom lessons run smoothly despite disruptive behavior by students." Listed below are several techniques, ideas, resources, and tips for teachers to hone the right skills to conquer their classroom: 1. Start the year tough. Many teachers make the mistake of starting the school year with a poor discipline plan or without any classroom management plan at all. It is so much easier to start tough and then lighten up, then to start light and discipline more. At the beginning of the year, students quickly assess the situation and realize what they will be allowed to get away with. Starting the year tough will give you control and flexibility. 2. Be fair to all students. 3. Be prepared for disruptions---and don't let them phase you. Students often amplify their teacher's reaction to disruptions—be ready for them and be ready to calmly and quickly pick up where you left off. Having a joke or interesting comment ready to bring attention back to you will allow you to transition back to the material. 4. Instill high expectations 5. Incentivize good behavior. Motivating students though rewards like no homework, watching a video, ice cream, or free-activity time can help students by giving them a goal. This can also help students hold each other accountable to class goals and stigmatize negative behavior even more. 6. Overplan. 7. Have a clearly expressed disciplinary plan...with consequences! Make sure students know the disciplinary ladder well. Any hint of ambiguity can leave a loophole for excuses (and students are great at making excuses!). Warn students when they are close to breaking a rule so there will be no ambiguity when that line is crossed. If you constantly raise your voice to get the attention of the class, consider investing in a classroom amplification system which can save your voice by projecting it. The iPod Portable PA system is a great system for classrooms because it features an iPod dock that simultaneously plays and charges your iPod and also has outputs for a projector. 8. Focus on relationships. A teacher than can connect positively with their students will make students behave and easier to manage because students will regard the teacher much like a friend. Using positive reinforcement to build a positive reputation for the child gives the student confidence that their teacher believes in them and will make it harder to disappoint the teacher with bad behavior or work ethic. 9. Be careful about confrontation 10. Be patient and keep practicing. Don't worry if things don't go well right away...controlling your classroom is learn-able but will always be a challenge with some students. Whether you are teach a kindergarten class, at an elementary school, middle school, or high school, it is best to "Expect the Unexpected" and be ready for adversity! People and organisation: Reward strategies for the future
Rising labour costs and skills shortages mean that business must adapt their rewards strategies to attract, motivate and retain their key staff. How can companies plan for the future?

Total Rewards
To attract and retain high-quality talent, companies design reward packages that will appeal to a variety of people. Companies address pay and benefits with a total rewards philosophy. The total rewards package includes all forms of compensation, the monetary and nonmonetary rewards provided by a company to attract, motivate, and retain employees. The effectiveness of the reward system depends on linking compensation to organizational objectives and strategies so that employees are encouraged to work in a manner that benefits the company and its stakeholders. An effective total rewards approach balances the interests and costs of the company with the needs and expectations of employees.

How to find the best risk to reward trading setups?
For free trading education, go to http://www.tradingwithrayner.com Do you agree with the statement below? “You must look for trades with a minimum of 1 to 2 risk to reward, so that even if you lose more than half the time, you can still be a profitable trader.” Now… If that’s the case, why stop at 1 to 2 risk to reward? Why not go for 1 to 1000 risk to reward? Why not risk 10 pips to make 10,000 pips? All you need to do is have a stop loss of 10 pips, and have a target profit 10,000 pips away. And POOF! You’re a profitable trader. Well, the truth is this… The risk to reward ratio is an illusion. It is meaningless without taking into consideration this one thing — and I’ll explain more in this episode of AskRayner. PLUS… If you were to point a gun to my head and ask me… “How do you find the best risk to reward trading setups?” Then go watch the episode below... Forex Money Management: Simple Forex Trading Money Management Strategies!
Follow this guy and you'll manage your money like a pro (i.e. your account will grow). One of the highest trading success rates I've seen to date, and I've been trading a while. - http://currencycashcow.com Forex Money Management: Simple Forex Money Management Strategies Stop You Blowing Up Your Account! Money management forex strategies (aka forex risk management) are the most basic, yet most critically important to get right because ultimately your long-term success as a trader relies not on how often you win, but rather how much you win when you are right verses how much you lose when you are wrong. Even traders with a high forex probability expectation, or in other words a high win rate of say 70-80% can still lose money over all, if their forex losers are significantly larger than their winners. Forex traders who have stood the test of time and have become successful have at some point come to grips with the reality that losing is a part of trading and there are times when your forex losers are consecutive. This is why using a forex stop loss and having a conservative forex stop loss strategy is so important. In addition to this it is also vitally important that you only risk a small percentage of your overall capital at any one time. 5% capital allocation is not too aggressive, nor conservative in terms of real risk and on a $5000 trading account means the maximum amount of capital risked at any point in time is just $250. The next thing to consider when analysing trading opportunities is the forex risk reward ratio. A basic and commonly used benchmark in currency trading is a 1:2 forex risk reward ratio. The goal here is to win $2 for every $1 lost or in terms of pips to have a forex profit target or win of at least 200 pips for every 100 pips lost, while still only placing 5% of your total risk capital in the market at any one point in time. This conservative approach to forex risk management will give you a significant window of opportunity and (hopefully) allow you stay in the forex trading game long enough to become consistently profitable, even when faced with a string of losses, which under more aggressive strategies may well blow up your trading account! I hope you find this forex trading money management tutorial video helpful and which you much success with your trading! The valuation of futures, stocks and options may fluctuate, and, as a result, traders may lose more than their original investment. The impact of seasonal and geopolitical events is already factored into market prices. The highly leveraged nature of futures trading means that small market movements will have a great impact on your trading account and this can work against you, leading to large losses or can work for you, leading to large gains. If the market moves against you, you may sustain a total loss greater than the amount you deposited into your account. You are responsible for all the risks and financial resources you use and for the chosen trading system.
