how to write a marketing plan step by step guide + templates. Firms that are successful in marketing invariably start with a marketing plan. Large companies have plans with hundreds of pages; small companies can get by with a half-dozen sheets. Put your marketing plan in a three-ring binder. Refer to it at least quarterly, but better yet monthly. Leave a tab for putting in monthly reports on sales/manufacturing; this will allow you to track performance as you follow the plan. marketing plan template download Link | https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dFWXT7UaGi46LzRiMjrhJqjm6a88C0no/view?usp=sharing The plan should cover one year. For small companies, this is often the best way to think about marketing. Things change, people leave, markets evolve, customers come and go. Later on we suggest creating a section of your plan that addresses the medium-term future--two to four years down the road. But the bulk of your plan should focus on the coming year. You should allow yourself a couple of months to write the plan, even if it's only a few pages long. Developing the plan is the "heavy lifting" of marketing. While executing the plan has its challenges, deciding what to do and how to do it is marketing's greatest challenge. Most marketing plans kick off with the first of the year or with the opening of your fiscal year if it's different. Who should see your plan? All the players in the company. Firms typically keep their marketing plans very, very private for one of two very different reasons: Either they're too skimpy and management would be embarrassed to have them see the light of day, or they're solid and packed with information . . . which would make them extremely valuable to the competition. You can't do a marketing plan without getting many people involved. No matter what your size, get feedback from all parts of your company: finance, manufacturing, personnel, supply and so on--in addition to marketing itself. This is especially important because it will take all aspects of your company to make your marketing plan work. Your key people can provide realistic input on what's achievable and how your goals can be reached, and they can share any insights they have on any potential, as-yet-unrealized marketing opportunities, adding another dimension to your plan. If you're essentially a one-person management operation, you'll have to wear all your hats at one time--but at least the meetings will be short! What's the relationship between your marketing plan and your business plan or vision statement? Your business plan spells out what your business is about--what you do and don't do, and what your ultimate goals are. It encompasses more than marketing; it can include discussions of locations, staffing, financing, strategic alliances and so on. It includes "the vision thing," the resounding words that spell out the glorious purpose of your company in stirring language. Your business plan is the U.S. Constitution of your business: If you want to do something that's outside the business plan, you need to either change your mind or change the plan. Your company's business plan provides the environment in which your marketing plan must flourish. The two documents must be consistent.
Coca-Cola is the biggest non-technology company in the world. Origionally only selling 7 servings a day, the company has grown slightly, at an estimated rate of more than 1.9 billion servings a day. Whats the secret behind their success? With only 4 billion dollars being invested into their advertising, it has allowed Coke's advertising team to experiment and released its fare share of interesting campaigns.

This is a very complicated world. It’s a very noisy world. And we’re not going to get a chance to get people to remember much about us. No company is! And so, we have to be really clear on what we want them to know about us. Now Apple, fortunately, is one of half-a-dozen best brands in the whole world. Right up there with Nike, Disney, Coke, Sony — it is one of the greats of the greats. Not just in this country, but all around the globe. But even a great brand needs investment and caring if it’s going to retain its relevance and vitality. And the Apple brand has clearly suffered from neglect in this area in the last few years. And we need to bring it back! The way to do that is NOT to talk about speeds and fees. It’s NOT to talk about bits and mega-hertz. It’s NOT to talk about why we are better than Windows. The dairy industry tried for 20 years to convince you that milk was good for you. It’s a lie, but they tried anyway. And the sales were falling. And then they tried “Got milk” and the sales went up. “Got milk” wasn’t even talking about the product. In fact, it focuses on the absence of the product. But the best example of all, and one of the greatest jobs of marketing that the universe has ever seen, is Nike. Remember, Nike sells a commodity. They sell shoes!!! And yet, when you think of Nike you feel something different than a shoe company. In their ads, as you know, they don’t ever talk about the product. They don’t ever tell you about their air soles and why they are better than Reebok’s air soles. What does Nike do in their advertising? They honor great athletes. And they honor great athletics. That’s who they are, that’s what they are about! Apple spends a fortune on advertising — you’d never know it….you’d never know it! So…when I got here, Apple just fired their agency and there was a competition with 23 agencies that…you know…four years from now we would pick one. And we blew that up and we hired Chiat\Day, the ad agency that I was fortunate enough to work with years ago and created some award winning work including the commercial voted the best ad ever made, 1984 (by Advertising Professionals). And…we started working about eight weeks ago, and the question we asked was, “Our customers want to know who is Apple and what is it that we stand for…where do we fit in this world?” And what we’re about isn’t making boxes for people to get their jobs done — although we do that well. We do that better than almost anybody, in some cases. But Apple is about something more than that! Apple at the core…its core value — is that, we believe that people with passion can change the world for the better. That’s what we believe! And we have had the opportunity to work with people like that. We’ve had the opportunity to work with people like you; with software developers, with customers, who have done it. In some big, and some small ways. And we believe that, in this world, people can change it for the better. And that those people who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world are the ones that actually do! And so, what we’re going to do in our first brand marketing campaign in several years, is to get back to that core value! A lot of things have changed. The market is in a total different place than where it was a decade ago. And Apple is totally different — and Apple’s place in it is totally different. And believe me, the products, and the distribution strategy, and the manufacturing are totally different…and we understand that. But values and core values — those things shouldn’t change. The things that Apple believed in at its core, are the same things Apple really stands for today. Here are my courses with marketing plan template and examples. Marketing strategy to reach 1,000,000 people (has a marketing plan template and marketing plan example): https://www.udemy.com/marketing-plan-strategy-become-a-great-marketer/?couponCode=y2 Business plan course which has a marketing plan template and example in it as well (same as in the marketing course above): https://www.udemy.com/how-to-write-a-business-plan/?couponCode=y1 In this video tutorial I explain how to write a marketing plan, present it in a way so you can have a template, and at the end of the video I give an example of how I created the marketing plan for my own business. Here are the sections that you should have in your marketing plan template: 1) Brief explanation and overview of your company 2) Your company's unique value proposition, sometimes referred to as UVP 3) Your company's budget 4) Dates and deadlines 5) Marketing team 6) Competitive analysis and an explanation of how you will out-compete your business competitors 7) Marketing strategies that your business will implement 8) Your target market and your target market size A marketing plan with the above 8 sections would be a well structured document. But your business hardly needs a properly structured and formatted document. What your business needs is the best possible course of action for your business. What would make it a very good plan for your business is if the marketing plan had as good as possible execution strategies of the actual promotional tactics that will be carried out. That is the real measure of quality and worth of this document. My marketing and business plan course have a marketing plan example that I used for my business. What is good about it is that I talk about my own strategies in hindsight after having implemented those strategies. This way I can show what works and what doesn't work, and have real-world data and experience to back it up. Give my courses a try. They will help you write a business plan for your company, start your business, and teach you how to effectively promote your business and grow it long-term.

We’ll give you three examples to best build a go-to-market strategy that will help you make money and drive long-term growth. Get a free trial of our new sales and marketing planning software at: http://register.funnelplan.com/ -------------- The right strategy doesn't depend on your product, but your buyers. Let's take a look at the companies, their buyers, and their strategy. At the end I'll give you a model for working this out for yourself. Desktop Computers For my first example, let's take a company that wants to own the desktop computing market. Firstly, come up with something that's truly amazing and different, clever, unique. Take that to as broad a market as you possibly can, and this is what the company I'm about to talk about did. Take it to as broad a market as you possibly can. Find out from that early market experience what group of buyers are likely to be a good market for you to focus on in the future. Start very broadly, selling very widely. Find the pattern and then find a niche that you think might be worth dominating, and then completely change the strategy and focus just on that. Leader in an enterprise software category For my second go to market strategy example, I'm going to pick an established player in an established market. Very different story. This established player in an established market had done such a good job of riding the enterprise applications market, that they were near dominant in that space. That's good news, but it's also bad news. The bad news is that pretty much all of the market, the enterprise market, had already bought either from this company, or from one of their competitors. Whilst they enjoyed the lion's share of the market, the market was pretty much drying up. Everybody had bought a product like this from either them or from their competitor. Challenger in enterprise software For my third go to market strategy example, again I'll stick to a mature market, but this time the company's not the gorilla. In fact, they're probably fourth on a good day. Maybe less, maybe fifth or sixth in the market. It's a big market, and they've done well, they've profited, and they've used those profits to continue to invest in sales and marketing as well as R&D. The problem is that as the market started to decline, their fortunes declined. They'll continue to invest, but they're investing in order to grow their share in a market that was pretty much consolidating. Now we're losing money hand over fist. What's the right strategy then? Want to know my marketing strategy for 2018? ►►Subscribe here to learn more of my secret SEO tips: https://goo.gl/ScRTwc Find me on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/neilkpatel/ Read more on my blog: https://neilpatel.com/blog 2018 is going to be an exciting year. The analysis on how much money we're spending to generate the traffic and here's what's crazy, most people don't realize this, we generate, let's say a million visitors a month on Neil Patel. Do you know what the cost to get there is with video, production, podcasting, blogging, promotion, ads, link building? $110,000 a month. That's what it averaged out to for 2017. Here are my marketing strategies for 2018. I just bought a blog in the marketing space for a half a million bucks. They get a million visitors a month, and it's cheaper to spend money acquiring people who already have the traffic. So in 2017, I bought Uber Suggest, I think it was around 140 grand. They had very little traffic. I 381 redirected the site, traffic increased and guess what happened? Nothing. I hoped that my traffic would go through the roof, but nothing happened. Uber Suggest was a good acquisition and what I ended up learning from that is, who cares about links? Don't buy anything for the links. Buy it purely based off of traffic and just pay a simple metric. If Uber Suggest has roughly 200,000 visitors per month, I paid a hundred and something; I would have paid 200 grand, the money didn't matter. For a blog that I just spent half a million on, their traffic ranges. On a horrible month, they'll get around 800,000 uniques. In a perfect month, they'll get around, like, 1.2, 1.3 million uniques, and all I'm doing right now is buying as many blogs as possible. My marketing strategy for 2018 is to buy blogs based on of traffic. I look at the top posts that they have and how qualified their visitors are and determine if I can successfully monetize their content. I don't even care if they have revenue. If they don't have revenue, even better. The problem with Search Engine Journal is that they have conferences, they have advertising, and they have contracts for all of it. I don't care for any of that. I just want the traffic. So when you buy all these people for traffic and then you put it into your monetization flow, you can quickly figure out, what is this worth? If I can't make my money back in less than 12 months, I will not buy it. The other marketing strategy that I use when I'm buying these sites is to look for blogs that aren't monetized well. The blog that I ended up buying for half a million bucks, they're not even making three grand a month. If you're not even making three grand a month, that's a good deal, right? They're like; you're going to give me half a million dollars for this? No problem. Another creative marketing strategy I'm doing right now, is trying to buy a really popular marketing tool. I don't want to pay them all the money they're asking for because they want well into the millions, and it isn't worth it. But, I'm trying to work out a deal where I give them X amount of money up front, let's say a million dollars, and then give them a hundred thousand a month over X amount of months or a hundred thousand a year over X amount of years. When I see inefficiencies in sites, I figure I can purchase them and double the revenue because they aren't optimized for traffic or conversions. So buy it for what it's worth, optimize it, and then use the profits to pay them out continually. That way you're not using all of your money and the business is paying, you may have spent a bit more money, but personally, you don't have to spend as much money, and that's my marketing strategy for 2018. My goal is to spend at least $5 million acquiring businesses purely based on their traffic. If you need help or have questions about online or digital marketing or of you're a small business looking for help, leave a comment or question below and I'll personally answer and help you in any way I can!

Developing a Sales and Marketing Strategy Plan Buy my book today! http://bit.ly/bestbrandingbook Contact me: http://www.edwindearborn.com/contact/ Connect with me on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/edwindearborn/ When developing and sales and marketing strategy/plan there are two types of sales approaches. One is the mindset of the hunter and the other is that of the farmer. The Hunter. The mindset of the hunter is to “Track, Kill & Move On.” Hunters are quick, restless and nomadic. The rapidly assess opportunities and discover rapid solutions to generate sustenance. In sales and marketing this would involve outbound phone calls, networking, and generally canvassing one’s territory for relatively immediate sales. The Farmer. The mindset and habits of a farmer is to stay in a one location, large or small, and to cultivate over a longer period of time. Farmers are very attune to the weather, the soil and many other factors, any of which could aversely affect his crops in the upcoming months or even years. When times get tough, they have a hard time moving on to new lands like the hunter. But their advantage is that they can feed hundreds of people for months and months when they do their job right and consistently. When developing a complete sales and marketing strategy plan it is important to factor in both types of personalities and tactics. One needs the hunters to find and bring home immediate sales. But it is also important that you have farmers who are tending to those who require nurturing. By doing so, future “crops” of leads will bear fruit. The Biggest Mistake The biggest mistake that any small business, start-up or corporation could make it to believe that all you need are more hunters to get in more sales. And likewise, one could pendulum swing and concentrate so much on nurturing that no immediate sales are generated, thus causing financial hardship for the enterprise. It is important to have both a Hunter and a Farmer strategy for your sales and marketing plan. Please subscribe to my YouTube channel.

What is Strategic Marketing? Well. . . It has to do with marketing and advertising. . . things like writing awesome ads and creating incredible websites and special reports that won't lull people to sleep. And it has to do with outside-the-box innovation—figuring out ways to not only think, but act-outside-the-box and sell products and services in a way that causes people to salivate and stumble over themselves to do business with you.

My first tip in having a content marketing strategy to you Instagram account is to promote 1 out of 10 posts. People aren’t going to follow you if all you do is hawk whatever your selling. You have to give value to your instagram followers before your ask for it. Instagram knows when you have fake followers and likes. And as I’ve proved in previous videos, fake likes and followers won’t help you grow. You might want to check my experience in buying fake instagram likes and followers. Also, to not run out of ideas in posting for your instagram account, you should build a swipe file of the posts that you see around that is getting a lot of likes and engagement. Don’t know what to write in your Instagram bio information? In this video of content marketing instagram, I'll show you how. You can make it short and sweet. I talk about it more on this Instagram Posts hacks. Another thing is that your IG content plan should be centered around getting people to click that link. People come to the Instagram to see beautiful photos and get inspired. No matter what niche your in, your content should foil these needs. You must choose a posting schedule and stick to it! If your serious about Instagram long term, that means every day. Even if that means doing some stories on one day and posts on the other, keep engaged on the platform every day if you want to make it big someday. Also, you should post on Instagram at the right time. If your post gets a lot of likes and comments shortly after it’s posted, this signals to Instagram that your Instagram post is quality content, and the algorithm will then show your post to even more of your followers! Do You Have Any New Content Marketing Distribution Strategies that Can Be Deployed Broadly? 3. Do You Have a Marketing or Social Hack That Is Related to Content Marketing? One of the big reasons that many brands are suffering from “content shock” is that so much content today looks exactly the same. It seems to be a bit lazy and uninspired because of this. Through this realization, Mark found inspiration in an unlikely place; Taco Bell. The fast food chain only utilizes approximately 14 ingredients, yet every month the company comes out with a new concoction. The point made here is that marketers have many ingredients at their disposal, but are not using them in creative or innovative ways Read more: http://www.fanaticsmedia.com/how-to-beef-up-content-marketing-campaigns-in-2016/ -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Don't miss this one! Jump in — grab your tickets to C3 2018 now. | https://goo.gl/kDcnjv Want an overview of content marketing strategy and web presence management? Check out the infographic: http://www.conductor.com/blog/2014/09/infographic-content-marketers-guide-web-presence-management/ Research shows that 9/10 marketers have a content marketing strategy, but just 30% are effective. So why does a content marketing strategy fail? Simply put: the content focuses too much on the brand, and not on the pain points and daily realities of their customers. In this marketing conference presentation, Joe Pulizzi, founder of the Content Marketing Institute, talks about how to turn a brand-centric content marketing strategy into one that’s a powerful acquisition channel that churns out real ROI. Marketers are familiar with the definition of a content marketing strategy: creating valuable, relevant, compelling content on a consistent basis to a targeted audience to see a profitable action. But what we want to do as content marketers is a little different – it’s all about building audiences who will know, like, and trust us over time. In other words, marketers need to change the way they communicate with their customers through the content they create, ultimately creating better customers for their brands. In this presentation on content strategy in 2015, Joe Pulizzi covers six practical content marketing strategy steps that apply whether you’re in small business marketing, or you’re on an enterprise marketing team. 1) Find your sweet spot: choose your niche and focus on the conversation you want to own. (Go to 09:01 ) 2) Discover your content tilt: Take that niche and establish your unique angle (“tilt”) that helps you cut through the clutter and differentiate you from your content marketing competitors. (Go to 13:01 ) 3) Build the base: combine content type + platform + consistent delivery + time to create your base of content. (Go to 23:15 ) 4) Harvest your audience: build your own subscribers so that you have control over your content marketing audience base. (Go to 28:45 ) 5) Diversify: aim to engage your audience on at least 3 different content touchpoints (Go to 37:37 ) 6) Monetize: use your data to understand the difference between those who convert and those who do not. (Go to 43:16 ) C3 is a marketing conference held in New York City annual, focused on the art and science of acquiring customers with organic digital media and web presence management. Click here to subscribe: https://bit.ly/2HxjQRa Click here to work with me: https://bit.ly/2FY2vzF A social media marketing plan is like a mini-marketing plan. Depending on whether or not you already have in place a company wide marketing plan in place will dictate the level and detail of your social media marketing plan. But even if you’re starting from scratch, a social media marketing plan is a great place to start to ensure you’ve got your bases covered and time spent on social won’t be time wasted. Step 1) Current Analysis – Where are you now? The first step is to identify what you’re already doing, and what platforms you’re on. From here you can decide where you want to go. Do you already have a few accounts set-up? Do they have customized headers and branding? Do you have any followers or “likes”? Step 2) Competitor Analysis – Where are they now? While it’s often a good idea to lead rather than follow, it’s still prudent to be aware of what the competition is doing. Making a list of competitors and their current social media usage can indicate 1 of 2 things. Step 3) Goals – Where would you like to be? Having goals is important to prevent 3 hour marathon Facebook sessions that provides little or no value. Is your goal to increase brand awareness? Drive traffic to your website? Build social authority? Step 4) Strategy – How are we going to do this? Given the goals set in the previous step, how are you going to achieve these? A few common social media strategies include: Listening, Engaging, Influencing and Contributing. Step 5) Target Market - Who’s going to listen? Knowing the details about your target market and the key statistics around which social media platforms they tend to use can help determine what to post, where to post, when, and how. Step 6) Implementation – It’s go time! When most people think social media, they think Facebook, maybe Instagram or Twitter, and possibly Pinterest. The truth is there are a ton of other related tools available under the header of social media that may, or may not, be suitable for your needs. But here’s the good news, you don’t need to use them all! In fact, you’re probably best to select only 1 or maybe 2 to start, and focus on doing them well. Determining which ones depend on your business, goals, and of course, your target market. Step 7) Monitoring – How are we doing? As Peter Drucker said, “what gets measured, gets managed” so this is a good opportunity to look back at our goals, see how we’re doing, and most importantly, see if we’re making any progress. Which is why a key part of having a social media marketing plan is to measure your performance and see how things are actually working out. The best and easiest way to do this is with something called a KPI, or key performance indicator. KPI’s are a marketing term that allow us to really identify what’s important, and then measure that. Step 8) Budgeting – How much are we going to spend? Having a social media marketing budget is an important part of the social media marketing plan because contrary to popular belief, social media in a business context isn’t free. There are costs involved with the time to set everything up, plan, and implement, as well as advanced options like monitoring, content creation, sharing, and increasingly important, promotion. Step 9) Return on Investment – How much did we make? Calculating a quantitative return on investment with social media can be a difficult task due to its largely qualitative results. It’s challenging after all to put an exact dollar amount on improved brand perception, increased brand awareness, or the number of customers reached or impressions gained through exposure from social media. Conclusion At the end of the day a good social media marketing plan is well worth the investment. Social media isn’t going away anytime soon, and has delivered some pretty incredible results for companies ranging from solopreneurs and small mom n’ pop shops all the way up to billion dollar enterprises. #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: http://instagram.com/adamerhart Snapchat: snapadamerhart

In this video Jeremy sits down with the owner of Felt Creative Agency and Marketing Guru AJ O’Reilly. They’ll lay out the 7 specific steps to the perfect marketing strategy. Get these steps right and the biggest issue your business will have is how to keep up. Here’s the overview: Step One: BRAND (2:00) Your brand is YOU. It is the business embodiment of your passions, your interests, your expectations, your personality. Great brands are the result of business owners molding all of their best personal features into a clear mission and vision for their business. People who try and cover that up, be something they aren’t, or generally paint a different picture are destined for business level confusion during every other step of this process. Step Two: TRIBE (5:00) Understanding your ideal client and then building a group of ideal clients into raving fans. Some people say target market, so call it your ideal customer avatar. Whatever you call it you need to zoom in on the exact personality that you want to work with. Once you understand that, figuring out how to reach them becomes a TON easier. How do you do that? You build a story. It’s a real story, a true story of who your brand is and why you’ve chosen to connect with your ideal client. Having a tribe means you also have people that you’re NOT for. This is super powerful and an important part of your brand story. “When you’re serving everybody you’re really serving no one” Step Three: CONTENT (10:45) Making content is the creation of real and valuable information for your ideal client. It could be images, documents, podcasts, videos, blog posts, etc. Sharing information that helps your ideal client makes you the “thought leader” for your industry. Once your ideal client sees you as a thought leader, who are they going to contact the second they need the service you provide? YOU, of course. Plus, by educating the population, you can we create ideal clients by teaching them the basics before they even call us. Step Four: DISTRIBUTION (14:50) There are SO MANY avenues for sharing the content you create. There’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit, your Website, and that’s just the digital options. When you’re first starting a business, our advice is to pick one or two that you already spend time on. Another way to do it is a program like Buffer that lets you enter your post into one place. Then the program posts it to all of the different social media sites. PICK ONE, DO IT WELL, GIVE IT TIME Step Five: FUNNEL (22:30) Creating content for your ideal client and getting it out there is great. It definitely puts you on the top of your ideal clients mind. But great businesses take that to the next level. They then have a system to walk people through ¬ the purchase journey. That means your actively asking people to take next steps with you as a business. Your funnel could include more valuable content, testimonials, in person engagement, tutorials about your product, free versions, etc. Walking through the brand journey is kind of like dating. Your sharing more and more about yourself and learning more and more about a potential client. Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn’t Step Six: SALE (26:00)¬¬¬ This is when an ideal client becomes a member of the tribe. Both sides have decided that the relationship works and you’re ready to move forward. Most businesses spend the majority of their time honing this part of the process and you SHOULD. This phase should be seamless, impressive, and a great experience. You spent time and money on the first five steps. Now an ideal client is ready to move forward. Make sure it’s right! Step Seven: ANALYZE (28:30) We are all in the center of our businesses. We see everything we do and think it’s great. BUT WE MIGHT BE WRONG! Our ad my not hit right, our product may not work properly, we may have an employee that just isn’t connecting with customers. Systems for feedback and analysis on every level is the number one way to grow a healthy profitable business. “what gets tracked gets fixed” Learn more about us at: Our Site - www.shineinsurance.com Our Blog - www.shineinsure.com/blog Our Podcast - www.scratchentrepreneur.com Our Course - www.makeinsurancesimple.com

Learn how to plan an effective email marketing strategy: http://bit.ly/2kbnB2V Before you can begin collecting email subscribers or importing them into your list, you should first take some time to think about your email marketing strategy – which starts with identifying your expectations and goals. As you think about what you hope to achieve through email marketing, it will be helpful to ask yourself: How do you want your emails to help your business? Do you want to increase sales for your product? Do you want to build relationships with subscribers? Who is the ideal subscriber for your email list? How will it fit with your overall marketing strategy? While these goals may change or evolve over time, it's important to consider the purpose of your emails and set goals that are both measurable and attainable. For those just starting out with email marketing, you might want to focus your goal on growing subscribers. In this case, your goal might look like the following: I plan to collect 500 email subscribers over the next 12 months by leveraging online and offline opportunities to attract sign ups. By including a numeric value, a due date and a general idea of how you plan on meeting that number, you'll have a clear target to work towards. It can even provide guidance for executing tactics that'll help you achieve your end goal. As you plan your tactics, also consider the target audience you hope to reach. For example, a fitness trainer with a focus on health and wellness might target people who are just getting started with exercising and changing their diet. Understanding your ideal customers will help you determine the best ways to connect and communicate with them. Take Action! Take 15 minutes to answer the questions above and identify goals for your email marketing strategy. Email marketing is still the number one way to establish trust, credibility and generate more revenue in 2018. Learn about my exact email marketing strategy that you can use to grow your online business fast. If you're not yet on my email list to experience my email marketing strategy firsthand, go here and sign up: https://www.milesbeckler.com/free-course It is widely known that your email list is your most valuable asset for your online business. That statement is a partial truth and is missing the fact that you must have a positive relationship with your email list too. How do you build this positive relationship with your email list? Email marketing! If you are looking for the #1 email marketing course watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_pPKZIyBt8 Through sending helpful and valuable emails you are able to stand out in your subscribers' inbox and ultimately build trust through delivering valuable information regularly. I recommend emailing every single day which is something my wife has done for over two years now. Before the daily emails begin, it is best to take your subscribers through a follow up sequence and you can learn how we create our autoresponder sequences in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWAXJD-dP4Y Now if you want to know how the email marketing automation works to actually set all this up... Be sure to watch this step-by-step email marketing tutorial that shows the process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bcMs67rbJa8 Personally I am new to the email every day world and with just a few months of experience I'm noticing a significant increase in the number of comments, replies, clicks and ultimately revenue I'm generating from my email marketing in 2018. Many people are scared that they will see a large amount of unsubscribes right away… Neither my wife nor I experienced this, although we did have the fear. Other people are worried that they won't come up with enough ideas to email, which if you're not in a niche that you're truly an expert in… This may be true! But you have chosen a niche that you have a level of expertise in so coming up with topics to email every day is actually very easy. Similar to how a 90 day video challenge works (as explained in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hnmXqesXls8 ) consistently emailing every day forces you to come up with new topics and new ideas that are helpful and useful to your audience. This is all a part of the process of being of service at scale! You will also find that through your email marketing you're creating new content that can ultimately be published to your blog, Instagram account, Facebook, twitter, and other social media outlets. You will also find that some of your email topics deserve their own videos and this will be a source of new ideas for your video marketing, too. Also, it is important to remember that most of your audience are not living the life they desire. This is why they subscribe to your list in the first place! They accepted your offer for the free lead magnet to help them solve the problem. Your daily emails continue to help them along their path, offer them entertaining and informative content that simply furthers your relationship and get you closer to the sale. If you are only emailing when you have something new to promote, or once a month… You're missing the boat! People will forget about who you are from when they opted in until they receive your next offer email, next month. You need to stay top of mind at all times and emailing every day is the key to this process! The final benefit is that you will become a much better copywriter, fast. As someone who personally has doubted my own writing abilities… The process of emailing my list dozens of times in the last month has really "flexed the muscle" of writing email copy and now I'm experiencing higher quality copywriting that comes more easily and takes less time. As with everything, there is a learning curve… And a bit of practice goes a long way to helping you get better fast! If you want more info on our approach to email marketing, here is a live speech my wife Melanie and I did about how we build, grow and monetize our email lists: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=preIZ1oLWLo

We all know the importance of B2B lead generation when it comes to helping your sales team reach their sales quota. It’s a simple situation that many B2B marketers and sales professional have had heated debates and fights over: No leads. No sales. No sales. No business. And if the leads aren’t great… That's on the marketer. But here's the thing: It doesn’t have to be this way! In this video, I break down 9 different tactics that B2B marketers can embrace to increase the volume of leads while ensuring that they're high quality leads. In this video, I’m going to show you how to attract quality leads, build trust with them online and ensure that your B2B brand (whether service or product) can have a solid pipeline that you’ll never lose sleep over because you’re wondering if sales is going to try and fight you during the next company meeting. These are some of the best ways B2B brands can generate leads and a sure-fire way to ensure that at the end of the quarter both marketing and sales teams are poppin’ a bottle of Dom Perignon together. One of the first things any great B2B marketer does before implementing a B2B marketing plan is identify their target audience and learn everything they can about them. Identifying a B2B target audience is a bit more difficult than it is in B2C situations because there's so many people that influence the decision in B2B. You see, when it comes to B2C, the purchase decision making process is typically much faster and comes down to one person making the call. Because of this, you can understand the individual pain points that this person has and focus solely on those. For most B2B purchases, we’re not talking about a $20 t-shirt or $6 phone case (unless it’s a bulk purchase). Most of the transactions that happen in B2B have a bigger average cart size and could be considered major purchases. In many cases, these purchases require a buy-in from multiple levels within an organization. It’s not just the senior marketer that approves your project, it’s procurement, the VP of digital and the CTO who all have an influence on that transaction. So figuring out EXACTLY who your audience is KEY! You see, instead of just targeting Aaliyah, the CEO of that Fintech company you’d love to work with, you’re also going to be targeting the CMO Erin, CFO James, CTO Alicia and the Sr. Marketer Josh that you used to work with at your old company. And the way you reach James might be different from the way you reach Erin or Josh. That’s why it’s so important to keep track of the various touchpoints, how they’re happening, and use that data to better understand what type of content they want, how they want to receive it, and whether or not they’re warmed up enough to go in for your pitch. That’s the role of internal data. And it’s internal data that will help you better understand exactly who you should be talking to in the first place. As a starting point, you should look at who your best customers are: Which customers see the most value in your product or service? Which customers have you given the most value to? What content does your audience consume online? Which customers does your team love serving? Which customers give you the most love? All of these answers should assist in helping you figure out EXACTLY how to use the different strategies and tactics I break down in this video. ========= Full Blog Post here: https://rosssimmonds.com/b2b-leads/ ========= Connect with me on these various channels: Twitter ➜ https://twitter.com/thecoolestcool Instagram ➜ https://www.instagram.com/thecoolestcool ===== Great Slack Channels: https://slacklist.info Great Medium Publications: https://toppub.xyz
