4 wheel ????? !
I have one of those red fold out wagons, I used it to move and to bring a bunch of groceries up 3 flights of stairs. It worked great because the wheels are very large. I am sorry that one did not work out for you. I am going to Kilbourne's hole which is a huge volcanic crater from thousands of years ago. There is an abundance of gem quality peridot, a hop, skip and a jump from where I live. New Mexico has so many different places to dig in. There is a place called rockhound park, where you can camp and take your stuff home for free. You pay 10 bucks a night for a motor home or rv. There are clean outs for your rv to! So lots of different types of specimens there to.

I get to see clear and blue topaz. I used to get permission to clean out the gigs on tin mining dredges. Topaz was a nuisance.

If you have not found some one to show you how to cut your stones Try finding a rock club near you Some has the tools to teach you how Plus tools cost so much So better to try and see if you like it before you spend so much money Good luck be safe and find the mother load
Y'Boy Caleko (2 years ago)
andy wilson I'm working on that. But. We have already invested in lapidary Equipment. I'm fully invested in making this rock hounding YouTube thing work. Thanks for your comment.

Great video Dude! My wife was wondering how you get the Topaz out of the rocks and I was wondering if you have a count of how much Topaz you ended up with and what it's worth vs the cost to mine it? keep up the good work, can't wait for the next video!
Y'Boy Caleko (2 years ago)
Jon Moreau I keep most my topaz in the matrix. I Love nice specimens. Until I hook up with a good gem cutter To learn from. I have no use of the raw stones. Well except sell them.
Dezzydaze (2 years ago)
Also, the darker the amethyst the more it costs. Just letting you know!!
Dezzydaze (2 years ago)
Well i'll just have to send you one then!
Y'Boy Caleko (2 years ago)
Dezzydaze I liked having amethyst with the Topaz at all. And I can understand the deeper purples are higher valued. But I am definitely into that medium purple very see-through. That's my favorite amethyst.
Dezzydaze (2 years ago)
Yay! Another video! Haha
Dezzydaze (2 years ago)
I need more digging videos from you in my life lol. I've already watched all of your other vids!
Utah mason (2 years ago)
nice video. I'm not sure I would pay to prospect, lots of good spots in the public area. get higher up across canyon from claim and you'll have a chance for some red Beryl, and lots more amethyst. I've been told if you go right at the first fork in road you showed at first if video, to the other side of mountain there's garnets.
Y'Boy Caleko (2 years ago)
Utah mason I will try to remember to check him out I'm super busy at the moment just getting back from my recent digs.
Utah mason (2 years ago)
Mining America you should check out Utah rockhounding on Facebook. he's got some really nice spots. and fun to go out on digs with. he's also good friends with the geologist at mammoth mines, and do some in the mine tours, where you can chisel right off the mineral spiral. and dig thru the old tailing piles.
Y'Boy Caleko (2 years ago)
The main reason to pay for this claim is all of the loose blasted rock. It's a much more productive time at finding nice Topaz. Every thing else you said I agree with. my next trip to utah will include the hunt for other minerals local to the area. Thanks for the comments.
rompergoddess (2 years ago)
That was awesomeness!!! I really wish I could do this.... Topaz and Opals are the best!!!!
Y'Boy Caleko (2 years ago)
Shipping depends on the weight of the item. small items usually run around 10-15 depending on the speed of the shipping. Chedk out my Etsy store links are in the description. I also entertain offers made though email.
rompergoddess (2 years ago)
do you have a small topaz for sale? And how much would shipping cost to Canada?
Y'Boy Caleko (2 years ago)
You can do this. Just plan it rall well. Thank you.
Don Miller (2 years ago)
Nice work David. We dig through the tailings as well. Not into swinging a sledge anymore.
Y'Boy Caleko (2 years ago)
I do great in the tailings. I still need the hammer though. Thanks for watching.
