Is the card undervolted? 165w seems a bit low consume for what I've heard this card consumes around 250w on stock settings.
Azu-nyan (13 days ago)
what about an powercolor vega 56
Jason Myers (26 days ago)
how does this card stack up against world of warcraft.. is it enough to play on ultra settings.
Jason Myers (25 days ago)
+PixelTheory from what i understand about wow and how it uses processor power. It seems to only use one core. Im not sure if im saying it right. but i know iv read something like that before on the game. but thanks for your info bud.
PixelTheory (25 days ago)
+Jason Myers Well, the 2600 is a good chip so it should be fine. However, I don't know much about the WoW engine and I don't know how well it makes use for multithreading. So while I think it should be totally fine, I can't promise you anything.
Jason Myers (25 days ago)
+PixelTheory ryzen 2600 with 16g of memory. on a 450 board.
PixelTheory (26 days ago)
Provided your CPU can keep up you should be looking at a solid 60fps on ultra at 1440p. Obviously it really depends on what is going on, there maybe bit's where that fps drops when things are going crazy but generally you would get good performance for sure!
Mhmd 666 (29 days ago)
I was hesitant to buy this graphics card because I thought the fps would be unstable, but I see that this is not the case. So I will probably buy it :)
PixelTheory (29 days ago)
Well that's great to hear! Hope it works out for you :)
ismaeil maulud (1 month ago)
I got this gpu yesterday and it have usage problem idk it is not stable it drops alot and i have i5 8400.
+ismaeil maulud Well if you are blue screening then yea there could be a problem there. I would not worry about the card being hot when you removed it however. Graphics cards just after full usage can get hot enough to burn your fingers on. Good luck, I hope everything works out for you :)
ismaeil maulud (1 month ago)
+PixelTwitch | PC Gaming Goodness I think it is faulty i send it back for testing i got every time blue screen and poor performance and when i removed the card from my pc it was so hot.
Normally if GPU usage drops, it's due to a bottleneck somewhere else in the system. This normally depends a lot on the games you play as well.

Would the vega 56 do well with the Asus XG35VQ at 1440p?
Too be honest I would recommend going up to the Vega 64. With that monitor you are looking to push around 40% more pixels than what is shown in this video.
Sam maddison (2 months ago)
What cpu is this
i9 7900x
Erin Dubois (2 months ago)
Are you using a freesync monitor ? I've noticed some serious tearing in the clip..
The tearing is due to recording to a capture card using an uncapped framerate. With a freesync monitor you will not see these tears providing your below the maximum refresh rate of the monitor.
CyberByte (3 months ago)
What cpu are you using?
i9 7900x @ 4.5Ghz
Luchezar Radenkov (2 months ago)
r9 280x sapphire

how can i undervolt my sapphire rx vega 56? Im getting 280w spike on it :(
Enchantress (1 month ago)
Hit 1090 mv (In Wattsman https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Lok3fWWFUE) and set the power limit on 50+ then test. is it good, then jump to 1050mv then test again, is it good let is on 1050mv and you are hitting between 185/200 watts and your clockspeed goes up. Vega is not limited to temperature but to the watts / power. So at 300watts the clock speed goes down, what you read in the software is not the actual wattage of the card, there will still be 15/30 watt above it. The PCB and VRM of the Vega card can easily handle 340 / 350watt but AMD has locked it at 300 watts. PCB and VRM of the Vega 56 are exactly the same as with the Vega 64 and Vega 64 water cooling.
Ivan Dos santos (3 months ago)
Can this card hit 144fps+ at 1440p with competitive settings in fortnite?
yes (sorry for late reply)
Marco Mazzotta (3 months ago)
With my ryzen 5 1600 and a Vega 56 Pulse in BF1 QHD Ultra I have avg 55fps, why?
the CPU is the limiting factor there.
Rafał D (3 months ago)
Gold 500W psu will be enough?
CyberByte (3 months ago)
Rafał D I recommend a 600w psu at least , but if u can get a 650 w because I have a Vega 56 as well and I have a 600w and the psu is struggling a little bit
EXTAB GAMING (4 months ago)
what are u using as your CPU cooler
I just cover it in ice cream before I start gaming. (seriously though I am using the Kelvin s36)
Nullarc77 (4 months ago)
Considering the current price I am highly considering this card for a future upgrade. Especially since I plan on getting a 3440x1440p 100hz freesync monitor.
Samus Zero (4 months ago)
I want a SAPPHIRE PULSE RX Vega 56 8GB .. but I only have 300 usd can you help me
Kekulous (1 month ago)
Go on ebay
Raging Monk (4 months ago)
Samus Zero About the time you wrote this Newegg had this card for $379 with promo code. AMD threw in a $150 game bundle.
Walt Kowalski (5 months ago)
overpriced shit , high tdp , energy consumption at an unacceptable level like rtx line nobody who have brain don't buy this
Sebas Pr (5 months ago)
Good video, but you are hacker XD..jojo
circedge (5 months ago)
Not Sapphire's fault I know, but eesh. $850 for the Sapphire Vega 56 locally, ASUS on sale for $530... But the Sapphire is so pretty. To be fair, the GTX 1070 hasn't gone back to its all time low of $440 and is actually more than the 56. More than $500 for a GPU? Not in non bizarro land.
Ty Brown (3 months ago)
There's a XFX Vega 56 for $413, but I'd MUCH rather spend $475 on the Pulse one because the XFX card is absolutely hideous.
john STEPP (5 months ago)
Why is this the only "review" for this card?
Andre Ramirez (5 months ago)
Those temperatures are amazing!
Ryan Sherman (6 months ago)
drop this to high and your fps would go up. but still very good for ultimate. and your temps are great
MrFrankTheRabbit (6 months ago)
is it safe to allow this card to run at 75°c with the memory at 80°c ?
MrFrankTheRabbit (6 months ago)
Are you running the card in power save mode? Because I just bought this card and I'm pulling 180w with the fan speed at 50%, it's way too loud.
SORAW441 (7 months ago)
Why is everyone disliking this, the card performs well and for an aftermarket one it's finally decent and the price dropped finally. People just keep going on about the past with msrp, sure it was a scandal, but remember this card used to be so bad now it got salvaged. It performs well around 1070 ti stock performance or rather absolute stock 1080 performance with lower clocks and beefier pixel-pushing just not as fast but god why do people have to fucking spoil everything. I'm not an amd crybaby i'm just saying but whatever.
Walt Kowalski (5 months ago)
I tell you why MONEY
cool beans (7 months ago)
Want but prices are still pretty high, tell AMD to get their shit together and give us 7mm!
SneakyTW (7 months ago)
What are you guys going on about? The card used to be $400, right now you can get this one for $480 at newegg I don't know why some of you are bringing up giant prices.
Santi M (7 months ago)
That's because mining has died down since a couple of months ago. These cards were going for around $1000 back then.
COCONUTHEAD (8 months ago)
whats the trade off with this card? what's missing from it? will it not live as long as other vegas with full pcbs
D. G. (10 months ago)
Check out these fucking morons in the comments who think AMD/ Sapphire controls who can buy cards
funkierfawn budgie (10 months ago)
what are other pc part specs?
Herry Gunawan (11 months ago)
disliked, why the hell u upload this video ? its bullsht, this video is pointless,no one can buy in decent prices and availibility is so fcking screw.
Danny JF (11 months ago)
Whats this card equivalent of in Gtx terms?
Francisco Widmer (8 months ago)
Haha yes
CaptainMcShotgun (8 months ago)
Francisco Widmer you mean gimpworks*
Francisco Widmer (9 months ago)
Obviously in old directx11 games and gameworks nvidia sponsored games 1080 is a lot bettter than Vega 56.
Francisco Widmer (9 months ago)
Kirby In the new games with new technology Vega 56 is in between 1070ti and 1080, and in some games it's equal or lightly better than 1080.
Spy (9 months ago)
Either 1070 or 1070 ti. It fits well between the two GPUs.
toppojaiwant (11 months ago)
@SapphireTech Please Open a Process online directly through your Website through which we gamers can buy these cards at MSRP's listed on launch. That too in limited Quantities(eg: - 2 per Household). That would be much better for us gamers. I've been searching for a vega card since September 2017. Most of the them are selling for GodknowswhatPrices at local retailers and online.
Syed junaid Ali (11 months ago)
Which cpu used in video
C0BEX (11 months ago)
This almost feels like a provocation. Promoting gaming performance on a card that is unreachable for gamers. Hell, it even is getting to the price that even miners have to think about twice before they buy.
BuGGzLoVeR's TECH (11 months ago)
Thanks for the performance overview, Keep up the good work Sapphire.
Thomas (11 months ago)
I always bought Sapphire GPUs, but not this time. The prices are insane for AMD cards and it was always sold out. You couldn't get a RX 56/64 GPU! So..., I bought a GTX 1080 from MSI, for 650€ last holidays. But I will always have you in my heart. Maybe next time...
ghanshyam jangid (11 months ago)
Sir every cards directly provide please
Jesse Rodriguez (11 months ago)
Thumb down because we can't buy your GPUs. Want to but can find one or they are out of MSRP price. Blue ball teasing...... Shame, Shame, Shame.
loukas371 (11 months ago)
Jesse Rodriguez like it's their fault...
Michael Gooley (11 months ago)
What were the System Specs?
Michael Gooley (11 months ago)
Nice. Thanks for the reply. I just like to know the rest of the specs when I watch videos like this, that's all :)
I was running on a i9 7900x overclocked to 4.5Ghz, 64GB Ram and all games where installed on M2 SSDs. OS was Windows 10 64bit. Sorry for not including.
The Impartial Truth (11 months ago)
Why don't you show the card?
Sorry, we already have a full card overview uploaded here... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3mKSrSluxbM
FUCK YOU LIARS FAKE NEWS THIS GPU IS A MYTH AND NOT REAL!!!

Sir i want sapphire rx580 8gb graphic cards so pls give some person contact details
Ferdinand Heiselberg (11 months ago)
Advanced Mining Devices sure do make good GPUs
Daniel Syvitski (11 months ago)
Is Sapphire honestly putting these videos up pretending anyone can even buy these cards let alone game on them right now?
Patryk Pampuch (11 months ago)
It's time to show the real power not in games but in getting bitcoins.
vicdez (11 months ago)
Can we ask Jamie when the hell I can buy these GPU's at or below MSRP? Don't upload crap like this until you can actually deliver normal price GPU's to your actual customers. Don't worry though, when the crypto mining crashes and used cards flood the market your loyal customers won't buy anything but used so GPU companies hopefully saved their crypto boom money because it's going to be extremely tough for you guys. Should be ashamed...
Keelan (30 days ago)
£315 in the UK with 3 decent games. Best price/performance for 1440p by far.
HSS Revenir (5 months ago)
AIB companies are not responsible for the end consumer price at retailers. It's actually you that should be ashamed of your own petty vindictiveness.
Neezy Ko (7 months ago)
You can buy a VEGA 56 now at newegg for $479 non-reference card.
loukas371 (11 months ago)
vicdez yeah no doubt this wasn't the most timely video, but they can dream right. Maybe one in 100 will fall in the hands of a gamer. Because I do believe that GPU manufacturers do want their products to be sold to gamers. They know that in the long run it's more profitable and of course a much more stable market. Not sure how cryptos are going to pan out, I haven't invested in that market nor do I mine with my single Rx 480 so I don't care either way. GPUs becoming approachable again is something I'm looking forward to though. And of course we are not going to contribute to this craze by actually buying cards right now. There's plenty of other stuff to spend our hard earned money as you said.
vicdez (11 months ago)
loukas371 I agree on your free market statement and that something is worth what someone is willing to pay. As far as the rest and barking up the wrong tree... Advertising a graphics card and it's gaming performance when you can't buy it at MSRP and even if you want to pay double what they are worth can't find in stock anywhere is in VERY bad taste. This is where I and many other can make ourselves heard. Simply staying quiet and not doing anything about it is not the proper course of action. I personally will be voting with my wallet. I have many other hobbies that I can invest in or simply wait until the krypto crash and buy used GPU's for days. Oh and to those who don't believe krypto won't be going away, I'm with you on that. Only problem is governments want their cut as well and legislation is on its way around the world. Once that happens it's not going to as profitable and the bigger players are going to be dumping stock and getting out of the game.
Lawrence Timme (11 months ago)
What about mining at 1440p?
Chronos Chris (2 months ago)
Minecraft runs really well with this graphics card.
Mining at 1440p actually impacts performance of mining by around 5%. (joking)
Judge Dredd 3D (11 months ago)
When a $399 Product is being sold for $899-$1199 makes it pointless and moronic to advertise the product... Might as well just advertise the hash rate, after all miners are the AMD/Sapphire main consumers, gamers are irrelevant.
kyle bachman (11 months ago)
I'm very impressed on the power consumption for the Vega 56 it's really not that high add +15 to the Power limit and that card will stay in the 1500s to 1600s clock speed on my Vega 64 lc I can get that baby to pull 350 watts so this is night and day of a difference
Romick Vieira (11 months ago)
Too bad its not availiabe/overpriced/can o ly find reference models for purchase
JS J (11 months ago)
Who the fuck cares about how good it is if u cant even get 1 in the 1st place. Fuckin miners.
cherniqhs (11 months ago)
Was it in case or open test bench ? As this is the card that I am getting ( if I ever manage to find her for 450-500 euros ) and 7 phases power is ok , temps look great. If it only has dual bios it will be perfect for me
This was in a case. The Fractal Meshify C.
AZNWOKZ (11 months ago)
Meh...... Can't find these GPU out in the market. Pointless
