So many people want to be "Off Grid" but don't realise the work it really takes. These two are a perfect example... they are living a dream, Yes, but they also had money behind them and by the sound of it they have quite a few dollars in the bank. So before people decide to sell everything and go sleep in a tent while you build your house in 90 days lol you should research the price of Solar Energy Panels... Land... Let alone construction materials. I have people say to me all the time "It must be cool to have FREE POWER!" I just laugh and tell them "It's not free... I just paid for 50 years of power up front"
Such a beautiful homestead. I would love to live in mother nature an out of the rat race. I know it's not easy jumping backwards like that but if your ever lucky enough to figure it out like this couple has then your truelly blessed like they are.
This sweet couple have one of the best homesteading channels. They are modest but they are both great teachers and share so much knowledge! She is such a skilled cook, so healthy and knows a great deal about food preservation and herbs. He can do anything! Glad to see this interview!!
I absolutely love your channel — been watching for several years now!! Love this couple too and been watching them for a while. The only thing I disagree with is when they talk about global warming and lessening their carbon footrint. Global warming is a “ theory based “ concept. I believe only a small part is from us, but most of it is caused by geo engineering like chemtrails. That is a fact! We are being lied to by our governments, the media, school system ... you name it. All pushing this bs agenda. I’ll stop now 🙂. Thank you!!! I want me and my family to eventually my live this way!!
They are the genuine articles. They seem down to earth and thoughtful as demonstrated by their home, outbuildings, animals and gardens. While I've chosen a different life style, I appreciate their decision to live as they do since they seem very happy. Completely independent and debt free! Nice goin!
Doug and Stacey were not at all typical...
As they had lots of cash from the sale of their 3,000 sq. ft. home...and whatever businesses they had going.
Most folks do this because they know they could never obtain those huge city dwellings (1/2 Million Dollar homes to sell, funding these fun “projects”...(which is how I’m defining Doug and Stacey’s property)!
Most folks that do this are doing it out of much necessity... not out of boredom!
Hmmm....lovely presentation and concept and good for them if that's what makes them happy and comfortable. I've watched a lot of tiny house video but prefer the one's that are off the grid but still use solar panels for electricity etc. Also I'm not a fan of stairs especially going up to the bedroom. All good while health is good but not always so convenient with health related issues and no kids......what we could all do without kids....lol......that would change the dynamics of this situation completely folks!
Oh and forgot the aspect of aging......and the future for all of us is aging.....we can't escape that......so that's another reason I'm not a fan of stairs because of arthritic knees....also don't like having to crawl about on my hands and knees to clean in upstair loft bedrooms with very low ceilings. that a lot of tiny houses have.
What a surprise, to see you on the property of Doug and Stacey!
From there channel of off grid with Doug and Stacey.
You've made this homestead homie! Very happy, to share this couple and amazing life style.
What a beautiful and serene way of life... kudos to them both- I could just imagine how she can feel the difference between her rain water on her skin towards others...I know I do and I'm not even comparing it to rain water..Well all the best. 👍🌷🌻
I used to enjoy visiting Missouri. My late aunt and uncle lived in Bosworth Mo and they farmed there for many years. They would take us fishing and it sure was a lot of fun. Well please let me know if you find a home for the timbers I mentioned on here.
100% ! natural lighting, only having infrared lighting at night, is exactly how our circadian rhythms work. blue and green wavelengths interrupt the melatonin cycle, so in the evening we're only meant to have red/orange wavelengths of light so our body goes through its proper cycles, helps us to sleep better of course
The idea of outbuilding is something which I love. Here in Kerala (southern state of India) pioneer houses where 4 separate buildings connected by a central courtyard..The open space right in the centre of the house was of multiple uses..
You do not need to calculate payroll premium if your policy is on a stipulated billing cycle.

However, if your policy is not yet on a stipulated billing cycle, this is typically what you will see when we send you a payroll report.
A split payroll report is sent when there is an Anniversary Rating Date on your policy, which is the month and day that rates, rating plans and rating systems are initially applied to a policy in force and each annual anniversary thereafter. Your payroll will need to be annotated for each period specified.
